About us
Angle Surveys was established in January 2013 and is a North Wales based land surveying company who are RICS regulated, Safecontractor Approved and Federation of Small Business members and offer our services throughout the UK. We are a Limited and VAT registered company and use the very latest in surveying Technology and software.
The founder and Managing Director, Marcus Westlund gained a Degree with Honours in 2005 and a Masters degree in November 2022. He is an Technical member of the Chartered Institute of Civil Engineering Surveyors, an Associate Member of the Chartered Association of Building Engineers and Associate member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
We give all our clients a friendly and professional service while offering extremely competitive prices. Health and safety
Angle Surveys are pleased to be Safecontractor and PAS91 Accredited & Approved. Health and Safety is one of our main company priorities. We believe, our employees, contractors and the general public should be safe and we will carry out a risk assessment before we start any survey work. We have £5,000,000 Public and Product liability insurance for this reason and have qualifications in Health and Safety, Emergency First Aid & Risk Assessments. Where there are dangerous and inaccessible areas of survey we cannot reach, we use Leica Pin Point Laser technology to complete your survey without putting anybody at risk of injury. We also also carried out formal training in Asbestos awareness, Manual Handling, Fire Marshall, Working at Heights, remote working and so much more.
The Environment

We only get one world, so we fully appreciate we have to do our bit as a company to try and protect it for everyone and most definitely for future generations. We have invested in our first Electric car in May 2022. We are now a paperless company and are pleased to announce we have switched energy suppliers that only use 100% renewable energy. Emma, the manager has a Degree in Geography and carried out her Dissertation on renewable energy, so the environment and the decisions we take to run the company are part of our culture and at the heart of Angle Surveys.

Technology
Leica Geosystems are the ultimate in Geomatic technology. We use the very latest in Leica Surveying technology including Leica Bluetooth Distos, Leica Robotic Total Stations, Leica GPS/GNSS and even the latest Leica Laser Scanners which are all fully calibrated up to 2023. We only use the very best in equipment available because of our years of experience working in the most extreme conditions and this means your projects and surveys are never delayed due to equipment errors or failure, but more importantly, always extremely accurate.
All our office computers are HP workstations and have the latest Intel i9 Eight Core processors, NVIDIA Graphics Processing Units, SSD hardrives and ECC memory to enable us to process and manipulate survey data more productively. We can also process surveys on site with our IPAD pros and Lenovo ThinkPad laptops

Software
We only use original Autodesk software including Revit and AutoCAD to make us more productive and to compliment our surveying technology. All our office computers use Windows 10 Professional operating systems and we use the latest in Geomatics and Engineering Surveying software which is fully updated and enables us to carry out a huge range of projects accurately and quickly.
We can output our surveys in 2d or 3d in dxf, dwg, ASCII and to Genio MX formats (formally MOSS) and can send it via E-mail, PDF , CD, USB stick. As we are a paperless company, we do not offer plotting service no more but can arrange this by a 3rd party if required.

Services Throughout the UK
We carry out our surveys throughout the UK, not just Wales. We have surveyed in Vhester, Liverpool, Manchester, Devon, Scotland and London With the latest in TOMTOM GPS Navigation, the most up to date 'real time' traffic information and our "local" knowledge of the UK roads, we will arrive early on site to start any sized survey. This could mean our survey crews travel on a daily basis or stay in nearby accommodation until the survey is finished. All travelling costs are included in our quotations so there are never any 'extras' added onto our fees.
